So, I've been eating at Sushi Zono for 30 years now! It is some of the best sushi and Japanese food around and is the kind of family business you love to support. Try the spicy ika fry (sautéed calamari) and the Hong roll. Delicious!

I love sushi zono. I love sushi but this has been one of my favorite places not just in the Bay Area but probably in the world as I have had sushi while traveling to many places. You can always count on the fish being fresh. It's nice hole in the wall as far as atmosphere.
We have been coming here since 2011. This place never disappoints!! Always the friendliest service and every roll is amazing. Definitely get the raging tuna!! Easy parking, too.
If you want fresh Sushi and fresh sashimi Sushi Zono is the place . Everything think they make is delicious. It's a true Japanese restaurant . We love the gyozas, Ika fry is the best. It's a family owned .

Amazing vibe, The best quality fish I have ever found in the Bay Area. The owner Abe is a stud and it's great to see him every time I'm there putting in work behind the sushi bar. Told me he took it over from his dad, so they've been in business the last 38 years. So cool to see the business passed through generations like that. Absolute 10/10 I love sushi and this is my new go to spot.
